The Treasurer is the officer managing property, finances and investments of the University and the Secretary of the Finance and Planning Committee. The Office of the Treasurer deals with all the receipts and the expenditure of the University. The Office prepares the annual and revised budget estimates of the University and presents it before the Finance and Planning Committee for approval.
The Office assists the Vice-Chancellor in all financial matters. Furthermore, the office ensures transparency in pecuniary matters. The Treasurer office also handles the matters regarding student funds, scholarships, pension, salary, and internal as well as external audit of the University.
