The 2nd syndicate meeting of the Thal University Bhakkar was held in BISE Lahore under the Chairmanship of the Minister for Higher Education Punjab.The meeting was accompanied by worthy Vice Chancellor Dr.Islam Ullah Khan , Minister Social welfare , MPA Aamir Inayat Shahani and MPA Zainab Umair , Chairman PHEC, Dr. Shahid Munir and a guest appearance of MNA Sana Ullah Masti Khail and other honourable members including Dr. Abdul Majeed Choudhury, former Vice Chancellor of jinah Medical college, Dr. Uzma Qureshi, Vice Chancellor of women University Multan, Muhammad Afzal, Vice Chancellor of Baba Guru Nanak University,
Dr. Nusrat Jahan, Distinguish Professor Zoology, Additional Secretary HED Shahid Zaman, Secretary Finance, Government of Punjab, Representative of Secretary Law and Parliamentary affairs. Alhamdulillah, in the meeting whole agenda of F&PC and most of other agenda items were approved and endorsed by the syndicate.

The syndicate gave the principal approval of new BS programs; BS Accounting and Finance, BS E-commerce, BS Entrepreneurship and innovative in Department of Business Studies. MPA Aamir Inayat Shahani stressed on the need of the department of food and nutrition in Thal University. The syndicate also gave the principal approval for BSc Food Sciences and Technology and BSc Human Nutrition and Dietetics.
The syndicate also approved and endorsed the following matters.
1)Budget for the financial year 2022-2023 ,
2) 25 percent of Disparity Reduction Allowance.
3) Fee Structure of Various Departments
4) Scholarship Policy for Thal University Bhakkar
5) Sports regulations
6) Logo for Thal University Bhakkar
7) Approval for the hiring of staff and trainers for E-Rozgar Center on visiting basis.
8) Service statues and schedule of posts were endorsed.
Vice Chancellor briefed the house about the key progress of the University within his tenure. Minister, Higher Education appreciate the efforts of Vice Chancellor Thal University Bhakkar Dr. Islam Ullah Khan. Minister higher education appreciated the performance of Dr. Shahid Kalim Khan, Registrar thal University Bhakkar.

Sana Ullah Masti Khail, raised the issue of merger of Commerce College Bhakkar into Thal University and Minister Higher Education Punjab gives the direction to Additional Secretary HED for taking necessary actions regarding merger.

On the recommendation of Minister social welfare Ghazanfar Abbas Cheena, Minster HED gave directions to occupy the land allotted for thal University Bhakkar through coordination with the district government.
